Legal notice
Food Products - Opened or partially used food products are not returnable unless a problem exists with the quality of the product. Since we do not specifically formulate for taste, smell, consistency, color or other factors unrelated to healthful nutrition, these factors would not be considered just cause for return of opened or partially used products.
Risks - The buyer assumes all risks associated with the use of these goods, whether used alone or in combination with other products. It is expressly understood that we are not responsible and will not be held liable for damages and/or injury caused by the use of any of these products, and that our liability ceases with prudent manufacture and delivery of these products.
Changes - Because of our continuing product improvement program, we reserve the right to change, at any time without notice, the specifications, design and prices, and also discontinue products without incurring obligations.
Damage - Our responsibility for damage ceases upon acceptance by the transport company. Purchasers are counseled against acknowledging the receipt of goods before careful inspections have been made. We will assist in handling claims against shipper.
Delays - Every effort is made to ship promptly. We make every effort to ensure that items in stock are shipped within TWO BUSINESS DAYS, Saturdays, Sundas and Holidays are not considered business days. You will be notified if there will be a significant delay.
Returns
Upon receipt/acceptance of your shopping cart/order and the charges therein, the order may not be cancelled for any reason. If an order is refused upon delivery the customer is responsible for all shipping charges including the return shipping and a restocking fee of 15%. Credit is not allowed on returns after 30 days. Discontinued, used (if no longer in clean, resalable condition), or special order items are not returnable. Returns will not be accepted without authorization, and a copy of this authorization must accompany all returns. If shipment is refused by customer, any shipping charges and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. All items returned are charged a 15% restocking fee.
Shipping
All items are shipped UPS ground or as otherwise specified. Shipments are processed seven days a week however UPS only delivers Monday thru Friday. Next day Air packages ordered during business hours 10am-3pm Monday thru Friday will ship same day, subject to availablity, however if you order on Friday Next Day is Next Business day so it will be delivered on Monday...If one orders on Friday after 5PM or any time Saturday and Sunday the order will be delivered Tuesday.
Web Site Errors
DoggieFood.com makes every effort to keep our product descriptions, pricing, etc., accurate.
If an order is placed that contains an incorrect description, pricing, etc., and we notice it before processing payment or shipping, a DoggieFood.com customer service representative will contact you requesting instructions or to notify you that the order has been cancelled.
If the error comes to our attention after an order has been shipped, DoggieFood.com will make a good-faith effort to compensate the customer. If a resolution is not possible or feasible, however, the customer may return the incorrectly described or mispriced items for a complete refund including the cost of shipping. Please contact us prior to returning the products.
