RETURN POLICY

Thank you for shopping at DoggieFood.com! If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Please bark at us at bark@doggiefood.com and one of our friendly customer service team members will be happy to assist you.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to double check your delivery and product details before placing an order as we cannot change any order details. We process your orders straight away to ensure you receive your products as quickly as possible, this means that once an order has been placed we’re unable to amend or cancel it!

Please note we do not ship to PO Boxes.

RETURNS: You have 90 (ninety) calendar days to return item(s) from the date the package was received. To be eligible for a return you must first contact us for instructions on returning your product and be issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form, which must accompany your return. Returned items without an approved RMA form will not be eligible for credit/refund. The item(s) must be unopened/unused and in the same condition that they were received. The item(s) must be in the original packaging. Discontinued and expired item(s), or items with less than 90 (ninety) days until expiration date are not eligible for returns/refunds. Orders that receive automatic discounts or have coupon codes applied equal to or more than 20% off are not eligible for return. These sales are FINAL.

Below are the eligible reasons for return at the customer’s expense. You are subject to return shipping cost as well as a 15% restocking fee:

  1. Accidental Order
  2. No longer wanted/needed
  3. Missed estimated delivery date
  4. Order refusal*
  5. Better price available
  6. Missed coupon (Coupons cannot and will not be applied or reimbursed after an order is placed)

Returns for the following reasons are our responsibility and Doggiefood.com will handle all associated costs to ensure correct order fulfillment.

  1. Arrived in addition to what was ordered
  2. Description on website was inaccurate
  3. Less than 3 months until product expires**
  4. Product BEST BY date has past
  5. Wrong product was sent
  6. Damaged Goods***

 

*ORDER REFUSAL: If an order is refused upon delivery for any reason the customer is responsible for all of the associated shipping charges including the actual cost to ship the product to your address (the $4.95 charged for shipping is a discounted price, and not the actual shipping cost) and the actual return shipping cost, as well as a restocking fee of 15%.

**PRODUCT WITH 90 (ninety) DAYS UNTIL BEST BY DATE: It is ours, as well as our distribution centers’ policy that product will be shipped with at least 90 (ninety) days left until the BEST BY or EXPIRATION date. Most products ship with between 8 and 16 months left before expiring. However, some unique or slow moving products could possibly ship with 90 days left before expiring.

***DAMAGED/MISSING/INCORRECT ITEMS: Upon receipt of your package you are responsible to inform us of any damages, missing, or incorrect items within 7 (seven) calendar days to be eligible for reshipment. Damaged goods are NOT eligible for return/refund/credit. Once we have been notified of the damage, we will request pictures to assess the damage and if needed, to file a claim with the shipping company. We make sure that all of our product(s) are inspected when picked from the warehouse, and inspected upon being packed into the boxes for shipment. For damaged items a claim with the shipping carrier may be filed, and the items will be reshipped to you right away. Please do not discard/throw away the damaged product before this entire process is complete. At the discretion of Doggiefood.com we may issue partial credit. (For example: if within a case of 12 cans there are only a few that are damaged we cannot ship another entire case. We will issue you a store credit for what was actually damaged.)

EXCHANGES: We cannot offer exchanges for any reason. If an exchange is requested for any reason, this will be treated as two separate transactions: return the original order (above terms and conditions apply) and place a new order for the desired product(s).

ADDRESS ERRORS/DELIVERY EXCEPTIONS: If the shipping address that you have entered into our system is incorrect, you would like to reroute the package to a new address, or have the package held at a local Shipping Facility there will be an additional fee of $20 to make any of these changes. You must contact us and pay the additional fee BEFORE we can make any delivery corrections/exceptions. The only possible way that the recipient (you) can make changes to your delivery is by signing up for FedEx Delivery Manager, as most of our orders ship FedEx. Please sign up for this program if you would like to have control of delivery dates and times, as well as a signature service. PLEASE NOTE: Items that ship directly from the manufacturer CANNOT have changes made to their deliveries and may ship with other carriers.

REFUNDS: Refunds/credits will be issued once our warehouse receives your item(s) and confirms the appropriate items were returned it in a resalable condition. If an item was returned opened, used or in any other non-resalable condition there will be no credit issued. Once the return is confirmed to be acceptable we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment, or to store credit if you prefer. Store credits can be applied immediately to other purchases (you must have a Doggiefood.com account to receive store credit). Refunds processed to original payment methods can take a few days to post to your account depending on your bank/card issuer's policies. A credit memo will be sent by Doggiefood.com as soon as the refund/credit is processed. We will deduct the actual shipping cost of the return along with the 15% restocking fee from the refund/credit where applicable.

PLEASE NOTE: Items that ship directly from the manufacturer are UNABLE to be returned. These brands include, but are not limited to: Abady, Dr. Harvey’s, Kronch/Active Pet Feeds, Mulligan Stew, Party Animal, and Wholistic Pet Organics. All sales are final.
